Anna Silk is a Fredericton native, the daughter Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had numerous skills, such as being able to direct, act production, create plays as well as teach and serve as Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's father was British and her mother was is a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Anna Silk remembers her mother watching working in rehearsals for plays. When she was a kid, she made the rounds in a variety of commercials. Anna relocated out of Toronto to Los Angeles in 1999. Seth Cooperman met Anna at an Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007 and the couple became engaged. The couple was married with a civil ceremony on ended in December. They renewed their vows in an Jewish celebration in Fredericton in April of 2011 after Anna's conversion to Judaism. Bo's romance with Lauren, portrayed by Zoie Parker, was featured in the list of CNN's Top TV Couples of All Time and was named E!'s Top TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television.
